The Seed of the Fire "I still hear you I still see you I still feel the Fire" Distant sounds to raise the dead have they been real or in my head – I still sleep ith open eyes Now shake the dust off from these bones after those years of yawns and moans again we will rise But why do we have to wake up now – ain't that a shame? Why do we have to rise again now – why can't we rest?

Anyway a way 04:59
Anyway a way There are many ways and there's the way you had to take making it the only way Across the barren fields familiar bodies by your side in the ditch and left behind And an instinct guides the way through the dust and ruins Drowning cities burning trees and and deserted heavens That's the way it is, you see, and the ay that sets you free But there's the other way that in the distance slowly fades tha poisons your reality Running out of breath the way descending into haze the stumbling and the sliding starts Below these broken windows, next to the roaring sea junctions, skhortcuts but still a choice And we will choose and choose one day – sooner or later, long or short- the last way. Now choose your way And the ay we gonna choose is the way we gonnna go it's the way we gonna be probably free.

Religion Plagues Religion plagues the mind and stains existence with reproach and the love of decay Religion plagues the world and breaks to pieces with a phrase – country and god And those who speak of hope - the same that made you small and hopeless in the first place Where order is divine and suffering ideal is easy ruling. Possessed by afterlife neglecting present flaws – now in whose interest could that lie? Fear is still a tool and even if you die in god you're dead in the end. Halleluia. Religion plagues the children and will burn their doubts with fire – the scum has to be kept in fear Religion plagues the lovers and will ostracize desire – there'll be profit in that "Law and State, Belief and Religion" Pray for the victims who were killed by those who asked for god's blessing before their deed. Now pray Maybe the world won't care if we don't understand but do we have to simplify? I'm still more inclined to shame than to wearing the presumptious crown of creation. I'll leave you your religion if you leave me my doubts – as both will kill us in the end. And probably I'd die for my beliefs but sure won't kill for them.

Aftershadows 04:33
Aftershadows Modifications for reasons of safety freedom maintained by building new walls Values defined by blaming the alien - We have seen it before. And forgot. Pithy expletives disguised as solutions identity finds reconnection with race Unconcealed daydreams of world domination - We have heard it before. And forgot. And we cheat and we lie under a hole up in the sky and we grow and we die dreaming of better lives dreaming of future worlds and perish NOW Money returns in the shape of deseases we are randomly killed by the same weapons we sold Not from outer space but across the waters - We could have known it before. And we did. Is the past catching up with us or are we running towards? And fear is still a force and will be used as a tool. And there's hope if we try – or is hope another lie? In the noise you have to cry, not to be heard will make you die.
5.
We are Interpretation The candle in your hand draws shadows on your brow the flame is in your eyes and flickers in your breath and fights to be burning Light in your hand again to guide the way again but what is beyond the cone is darker even more it reaches out to show that when we go We all go wirth secrets We all go untold Our words and our lives leave interpretation I stand within this cone of light which way is there to turn? The half extinguished flame will blaze up once again dangerously high but it will eventually die. Te things that were not said the things that were not done will fill the empty space when we are gone For we all go with secrets Half of our life is darkness – the rest is obscure.
6.
The Hand that fans the flame Now that pain is real sit down by the fire and speak of dreams and derangement Now the day is near and with the slightest of moves your face will shine in the light. Then I'll get up and fan the flame and time will bend with resignation. It's as simple as that. No it is not. Darkness Silence Music and Love Comfort and Torture But now it's real and only pain ensures us that we still feel.
7.
We are the Maggots And with the waste of a thousand words we prove the voidness of all we have done Like in a prayer we will lift our hands to shield our eyes from the glare of the sun Under the sun look at me crawling under the sun We take a step onto colder grounds but every movement speaks of being too late and like a stone in an idiot's fist we are thrown into the dark waters of fate Under the sun look at me crawling under the sun Under the sun and what will keep me under the sun We are the maggots in a dead dog Under the sun your eyes may keep me under the sun.
8.
The Last Summer Before And we watch the women passing by but let our laughter drown their cries under our backs the firmness of the earth that will devour us in no time Can we be sure that we will meet again in this last summer before the war? Turn away, ignore the signs And we slip into the silent pond let its dark waters close our ears we dive and swim under the surface when we emerge there will be war
9.
Abide 05:26
Abide We hear sirens singing of war and distant crimes We see faces wearing a mask from forgotten times Far from the cliff edge we watch the sea and a boat in distress And we are sliding as the shadows draw near we first struggle and then let go and wait for pain or relief in the dark Abide with me the day is spent The day is far spent it is toward evening

These are the Dark Days this is the Life Past time tomorrow no time today feet on the treadmill will follow the way Out of the shadows into the light colourful display may offer some light This is the darkness these are the days Nietzsche is dancing and so are we Freud knows the answer and it's plain to see And we see very impotent persons around a nd above this is the poison were once had been love Here are the cold facts were once there was love our thoughts will be fake news that say it's enough and all of our notions are turned into shame old impotent madmen are ruling again These are the dark days this is the life
12.
Friendly Fire And certainly there's pain but there is also poison help me move aside the dead to screw upon the graves and the way things really are says nothing about how they should be I was born so I will die – you must agree it could be worse Yes, but it could be better too Run though the friendly fire into open arms that will not hold you run in the fading light of the glowing pyres and all you have is but a single try And maybe god is not dead only mortally wounded his wild last kicks in agony who's in now for the mercy blow? The freakshow has been closed down – where do we find our new employment and the pennies for my thoughts put them on my eyes when I am dead Wait for the signal and then Run... It's the same room at another time – participants changing One day we'll wake up and find out what this was all about. Perhaps.
13.
Love upon a Ground Yet there is love, don't you see to break resistance tenderly May there be love, driven snow, to save our imprints when we go it is love plain and cold it is love What do you think will keep me here in this divine conglomerate of hope and fear what will keep me from killing myself what will keeop me from killing everybody else only love to love and be loved It places existence at the reach of your hand you stare into fire but the orld on't end Like silence and darkness it's torture, comfort and fraud and as in music there is a notion of god But when it comes down to it it is only a word that has to be put into a phrase like:

about

"Dysangelist" - the bearer of bad news
The new album by Alexander Dust reflects again on the absurdity of existence and the state of the world today. Unsurprisingly it is the gloomiest utterance probably since the last sounds of ALSO. Is it Dark Wave for intellectuals? Maybe. But surely an experience for advanced listeners.
